Presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, said an official statement would be released in a few minutes on the report.
No fewer than 185 were said to have been massacred during a clash on penultimate Saturday between the militant Islamic sect, Boko Haram and the Multinational Joint Task Force in the Borno State community.
Disturbed by the development, Jonathan had ordered a full-scale investigation with a view to ascertaining the circumstances leading to the massacre and identifying the culprits.
The President had on Wednesday vowed that those found culpable in the massacre would be dealt with according to the laws of the land.
